“When the Word of God is in your heart, it will preserve and protect you from desiring sin. You need the Word of God in your heart to bring Jesus to the scene. Many have heard the Word of God today but not in their heart. The Word of God in our hearts influences our conduct and character. As the Word dominates your mouth, one day, it will pay off, when the Spirit brings it to your heart. Don’t forget that faith is of man’s heart. The Word is the living presence of that Divine power when it comes from your heart. You need the Word of God in your heart. Letting the Word have right of way in your life is letting Christ have right of way. The Word dominating our hearts is the Lordship of Christ in us. The Word of God in our heart is our contact with God; it is His contact with us.”
